Full details of all the major planning issues are published in our quarterly newsletter. This has been another busy year in which the pre application system involving meetings with architects and developers was in full swing. These concerned:

4 St Paul’s Road (student accommodation),

2-16 Clifton Down Road (shopping complex),

land off Prince’s Lane (house),

140A Whiteladies Road,

former Woolworth’s (student accommodation),

former ABC Cinema, Whiteladies Road (flats),

updating of Students’ Union, Queen’s Road,

former Pro Cathedral (managed student hall of residence),

the Old Vic Theatre School (link building),

and the former Garaway’s site.

CHIS is represented by members of the Planning Group on the Conservation Advisory Panel, Council for the Preservation of Ancient Bristol, Neighbourhood Planning Network, the Neighbourhood Forum and the Neighbourhood Partnership.
