we brought up a BBC lampshade and hung it up so everyone could see it on open day
Alan getting it ready for hanging
The boards needed touching up
Philip and Maggie painting a board each
Edwin and Anne painting the boards too- real family affair since Philip is their son
The steps needed sweeping
The floor needed washing
Smart for open day- trouble is that I had left it a bit late and could only find cut flowers - but they survived!
1925 Talbot 10/23 and 1935 MG on display this time
The Lord Mayor Geoff Gollop and Lady Mayoress came to visit. Peter and Maggie proud to take them round.
They spent 1 1/2 hours with us, when 1 hour had been allocated. A wonderful day if a bit cold.
The Lord Mayor Geoff Gollop and Lady Mayoress also went to look at our photographic exhibition in the Hotel.
Absolutely great, and they talked to us all.
